To all our many faithful and valued customers we would like to say thank you for your valued support over the last eight years. As natives of Norfolk we are not moving far away and as many of you know we will be operating The St Giles House Hotel in Norwich. A unique country house hotel in the heart of Norfolk |
|
Elderton Lodge nestles into its own six acres of naturally wooded grounds, beautifully aspected over looking on to 800 acres of Deer park. The 200 year old building, formally the shooting lodge to Gunton Hall is lovingly preserved by its local owners and run as a Country House Hotel offering 11 individual bedrooms and a delightful restaurant. The rooms have full modern facilities, while the restaurant offers high quality local produce. The Hotel is less than 5 miles from the North Norfolk coast line and is perfectly placed as a central point for visiting the whole of the North Norfolk attractions. It gives easy access to the many Broadland villages and their relevant water ways as well as being within easy reach of several National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, the city of Norwich is just 17 miles from the hotel. Norwich being the capital of Norfolk offers everything to the visitor from extensive culture and historic buildings to probably some of the finest shopping facilities in the whole of the Eastern region of England. The Hotel is owned and run by Rachel and Pat, both natives of Norfolk. Along with their well trained team they try always to reflect the local hospitality and comforts that their regular visitors have come to expect. Elderton Lodge is equally suitable for corporate clients visiting the local area and especially amenable for short breaks or longer stays for visitors to Norfolk. The Restaurant enjoys a strong following of non-resident clients who appreciate the variety of seasonal and A La Carte menus all representing excellent value in quality and service. |
